ASM Article on NCASM Branch Student Participation:
Students are vital to the future of ASM. The NCASM Branch recognizes this and has a tradition of encouraging student participation in our scientific meetings. The November issue of ASM Microbe contains a feature article on a career workshop we offered at our Spring 2012 Meeting. The morning workshop addressed careers, working with temp-placement agencies, preparing a CV, cover letters, and interviewing. Thank you Dan Mills and Wendy Wilson for spearheading and obtaining funding for the workshop. Click here to read the article.
